The University of Baghdad received a high-level delegation from the Scientific Research Authority, headed by Professor Dr. Shafiq Al-Mawla, the Authority's Chairman, and including Dr. Ahmed Al-Jaafari, Administrative Assistant, and Dr. Hawraa Al-Mubarga, Director General of the Psychological Research Center at the Ministry of Higher Education.
They were received by the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul-Razzaq Al-Hashemi, and the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Dr. Sadad Hisham Hamid.
The meeting included extensive discussions on supporting academic policies and enhancing integration in scientific research, with a focus on mechanisms for utilizing available national resources that can contribute to the development of scientific projects at both the Scientific Research Authority and the University of Baghdad.
For his part, the President of the University of Baghdad expressed his interest in cooperation and working to activate its mechanisms, particularly in light of the university's future plans related to developing education, scientific research, infrastructure, and modernizing administrative procedures.
This activity achieves two Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4, which calls for quality education, and Goal 17, which focuses on partnerships for achieving the goals.
