The Psychological Research Center of the Scientific Research Authority organized a specialized scientific workshop on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), under the auspices of the National Standing Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance at the Prime Minister's Office, and under the supervision of the Center's Director, Professor Dr. Hawraa Al-Mubarga, and in the presence of the Committee's Chairman, Dr. Haider Al-Saadi.
The workshop aimed to highlight the scientific foundations and practical approaches to dealing with ASD. Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Al-Salehi delivered a scientific lecture reviewing the latest trends in diagnosis and early intervention, emphasizing the need to unify professional standards and enhance the integration of psychological, educational, and health aspects to ensure the effectiveness of the services provided.
The event also featured in-depth scientific discussions among the participants, addressing the most prominent field challenges related to diagnosis and intervention mechanisms. A number of practical proposals were put forward to enhance institutional coordination and build a supportive environment that contributes to raising community awareness and improving the quality of services provided to individuals with ASD.
