The Research Authority Receives a Delegation from Gulf College in Oman to Discuss International Academic Cooperation The Chairman of the Research Authority received an academic delegation from Gulf College in the Sultanate of Oman, headed by Professor Ali bin Hamad Al-Badi, and including Professor Taqi Al-Abdwani, Director of the Institute affiliated with the college, which is a branch of Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK.
The meeting, which was also attended by the Director of the Chairman's Office and several directors of scientific centers and departments, focused on exploring avenues for joint academic and scientific cooperation. The aim is to strengthen international partnerships and enhance the quality of higher education and scientific research in accordance with global standards.
Discussions included the possibility of concluding a scientific and academic cooperation agreement encompassing the exchange of expertise, joint scientific supervision, collaborative research projects, and researcher exchanges, all within the framework of the laws and regulations in force in both countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Authority presented a commemorative gift to the Gulf College delegation, emphasizing that this visit represents a significant step towards expanding international academic cooperation and building strategic partnerships that support scientific research and knowledge development.
