In line with its commitment to implementing international standards in quality and environmental management, the Scientific Research Authority, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Shafiq Shaker Al-Mawla, signed a cooperation agreement with Sama Al-Ibdaa Company. The agreement aims to obtain ISO 9001 certification for Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management Systems.

This collaboration is supported by the Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI), underscoring its role in supporting national projects and empowering institutions to meet the requirements of sustainable management and innovation.

Dr. Ihsan Hashim, Director of the Quality Management Department, affirmed that the agreement represents a strategic step towards establishing a culture of quality and environmental commitment, aligning with the Authority's objectives in achieving sustainable development. Sama Al-Ibdaa Company explained that the project will contribute to enhancing institutional performance and developing the work environment according to the latest international standards.

For its part, the Trade Bank of Iraq expressed its pride in supporting this project, noting that investing in quality and the environment is an investment in Iraq's future and a boost to competitiveness, transparency, and innovation.
