The Scientific Research Authority Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission. The Scientific Research Authority signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission, aiming to enhance institutional integration and support scientific research in the fields of nuclear energy and its peaceful applications. The agreement was signed by Professor Dr. Shafiq Shaker Al-Mawla, President of the Scientific Research Authority, and Dr. Munir Kadhim Mohsen, Vice President of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission for Policies, Programs, and Scientific Cooperation.

The agreement aligns with the vision of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and President of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission, which seeks to broaden the horizons of scientific cooperation and build effective partnerships between national institutions.

The agreement includes training research personnel and providing opportunities for students in nuclear-related disciplines for practical training and the implementation of joint projects, contributing to the development of national scientific capabilities and supporting sustainable development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of the Scientific Research Authority presented a commemorative gift to the Vice President of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission as a token of mutual appreciation.
